Opencart Setup Checklist
- What is the domain name of your shop going to be, ie, www.YourShopsDomainName.com
- Do you already own the domain name from above? Or, do you need us to register it?
- We will need access to your DNS control panel of your domain name in order to point the domain at our Opencart servers. You can transfer the domain to us to manage at no extra cost.
- We will provide a FREE SSL security certificate for your domain above as part of the Opencart online shopping cart hosting package and experience.
- You will require a merchant account with a payment gateway provider like Stripe, PayPal or WorldPay, but to name a few, in order to actually take a payment from a customer purchasing a product from you. Please note, with some payment gateway providers, their due diligence and anti-money laundering process may take 3 to 10 working days to set you up a merchant account with them, so please start early with this, and have your business documents ready for them. For security, we cannot do this step for you, this is you direct with them.
- We will require some graphics from you, for your company logo. You may need to speak with your graphics designer or whoever did your company letterheads in order to continue the logo theme to your online shop. We can recommend graphics designers for you to contact direct if you do not have this.
